I am a strong willed advocate and Photographer. Some of my passions include advocating through my voice and my artwork in a number of different subject areas. I’m a mother to one darling, exceptional grade schooler and a beautiful infant.

I decided in 2010 to take a break from a career in Social Services to better support my son whom was diagnosed with Autism in 2009. In addition my new career choices, I am working on this writing piece, entitled “The Politics of Special Education” which will document my son’s journey and my experiences as his advocate through public school.

  1. I am glad that you are back sharing your experiences navigating the TDSB and congratulations on the birth of your baby. You have so many useful links that I know stop here when I am stumbling along trying to find some info. When we IPRC’d with the TDSB I should have known that the table full of yummy snacks was all the goodies we were going to get that day 😉 Keep up the good fight and looking forward to learning more from your posts. Thank you for following my blog.
